For beginners | Fill the surface with thread like a coloring book! satin stitch

What is satin stitch?
Satin stitch is an embroidery stitch that fills the surface.
The embroidery thread is embroidered without leaving any space, and the finish is characterized by a beautiful luster like satin fabric.
Depending on the size of the embroidery design, the number of 25 embroidery threads will also change, such as taking 2 to 3 threads or taking 6 threads.
In addition to #25 embroidery thread, satin stitch is done with a variety of threads such as thicker #5 embroidery thread and tapestry wool like yarn.
It is also possible to embroider yarn into the satin stitch to create a three-dimensional satin stitch.

Satin stitch point
Satin stitch is embroidered so that there are no gaps between threads.
If there is a gap, you can fill it in later.
After finishing the satin stitch, check that the fabric is not visible between the threads.
If the thread is pulled too strongly in one area, or if the thread is loose in one area, it will stand out, so try to pull the thread as evenly as possible.
Be careful not to pull the embroidery thread too hard, as this will widen the needle hole and pull the surrounding fabric.
The satin stitch tends to shift little by little unconsciously as the embroidery progresses.
Before the small deviations accumulate and it becomes difficult to return to the draft line, we proceed while confirming the position to embroider one stitch at a time.
If only a part of the thread is damaged, it will stand out, so check the condition of the thread as you proceed with the embroidery.
