You can embroider with both hands! Useful goods for fixing the embroidery frame to the desk

Useful goods for fixing the embroidery frame to the desk
If you can fix the embroidery frame to the desk and embroider with both hands, it will be much easier to embroider than with one hand.
There are many benefits, such as making it easier to cut threads with scissors, and increasing the speed of French knot stitching.
Once you get used to embroidering with the embroidery frame fixed, you will be able to use your right hand on the upper side of the embroidery frame and your left hand on the lower side of the embroidery frame.
Things to prepare for fixing the embroidery frame to the desk

A C-shaped clamp that is sold at home centers and recently at 100-yen stores such as Daiso. A C-shaped clamp is recommended for fixing the embroidery frame to the desk.
There are various types of clamps, and in addition to C-type clamps, there are F-type clamps and spring clamps, but we recommend C-type clamps.
The advantage of the C-clamp is that it is easy to adjust manually so as not to damage the table, the embroidery frame, and the cloth to be embroidered.
There are different sizes of C-type clamps, but I think the 50mm type is the easiest to use.
A 75mm C-clamp is also useful when fixing a large embroidery frame over 25cm.

When fixing the embroidery frame to the desk with a C-shaped clamp, it is recommended to put a scratch-prevention sticker on the clamp so that it does not damage the desk.
Paste only on the lower side when pinching with a clamp. In addition to the scratch prevention sticker, it is OK to cut a thin rubber fabric to just the right size and paste it on the adhesive.
It takes more time and effort to attach the rubber fabric with adhesive, but it is recommended because it deteriorates more slowly than attaching a scratch prevention sticker.

To prevent the threads of the C-clamp from damaging the embroidery frame and fabric, insert a piece of cloth between the C-clamp and the embroidery frame as shown in the photo.
By sandwiching the cloth, the friction when rotating and fixing the screw does not directly hit the embroidery frame or cloth.
You can basically use any kind of cloth, but we recommend using a somewhat firm cloth.
After a certain amount of use, the cloth will wear out due to the friction when tightening the screws, so replace it with a new one when it wears out and the cloth becomes thin.
