Point when stabbing satin stitch radially

If you need to pierce radially when stitching satin stitches, you can complete beautiful satin stitches just by paying attention to a few points.
Satin stitches are usually embroidered so that the threads are in the same direction. (Image below: left)
In the case shown on the right side of the image below, it is easier to see the flow of the thread neatly if you stab the satin stitch radially. (Yellow part)

Even if it's not radial, it's OK as long as the thread doesn't become longer, so it's OK to pierce diagonally and parallel to the left side of the image below.
As shown on the right side, if you pierce the thread horizontally and vertically, only a part of the thread will be long, so it is better to avoid it.
(Even if only part of the thread is longer, it is okay if it is used to hold down the longer part of the thread, such as by layering embroidery on top of it.)

There is no rule that all embroidery designs must be embroidered in this direction, so you can decide which direction you prefer or which direction is easier to embroider.

Procedure for stabbing radial satin stitches

Fill in the wide part of the design by inserting the thread inside the line of the design.

When satin stitches are stitched radially, the thread is stitched multiple times inside the lines of the design to gradually fill in the wider parts of the design.
When the wide part of the satin stitch is filled in to some extent, thread the line as per the design.
By repeating, you can stab a radial satin stitch.

In the illustration above, the embroidery pattern is embroidered twice, but the number of times can be adjusted depending on the location.
You can change the number of satin stitches while watching how the satin stitch gradually fills in, such as "Poke inward three times to pierce the line of the embroidery design → Next, poke two times inward to pierce the line of the embroidery design."

Point when stabbing satin stitch radially

Pulling the thread should be as gentle as possible, and the overall appearance of the satin stitch will be uniform if you use the amount of force that makes the thread look plump.
If you pull too hard on one part, when you finish embroidery, only one part will look pulled and stand out.

As shown in the image below, if you poke the threads so that they overlap slightly, the horizontal threads will connect smoothly and look beautiful.
