Irish Memories Embroidery Art | Embroidery design combining the Irish national flower, the shamrock, and the Japanese national flower, the cherry blossom | Production record of Custom order embroidery product testers

I created an embroidery piece based on my memories of Ireland.

The main motif this time is the shamrock (three-leaf clover), the symbol of good luck and the national flower of Ireland.
I created an embroidery design that combines Japan's national flower, the cherry blossom.
This is embroidery art that expresses the precious memories that are in both countries.

Ichiyo told us that she would like the main color of the bag to be pink.
I chose a pastel pink color to match the Irish-colored champagne plush toy I made earlier.

It incorporates the Irish color green used in the Champagne plush toy.

The cherry blossom embroidery features cherry blossoms in full bloom as well as buds.
The cherry blossom buds are embroidered to convey the meaning that much happiness awaits (they will soon bloom).

Irish Shamrock Champagne Stuffed Animal

The color requests for the Champagne stuffed animal are the Irish colors of green, white, and orange (pastel colors).
The embroidery motif request is a shamrock (three-leaf clover).

I choose green as the main color, inspired by the Irish festival, St. Patrick's Day.
On St. Patrick's Day, the streets of Ireland turn green.
The food and beer are all green.
Celebrate by dressing up in green clothes and wearing face paint
It is a traditional festival that has been celebrated in Ireland for centuries.

The shamrock motif is embroidered in colors reminiscent of the Irish flag.

Reversible embroidery of three-leaf clover shamrock

I received a request to arrange the floral embroidery into a shamrock.

The request was to leave the color up to me, so
One side is embroidered in the colors of the Irish flag, giving it a fluffy, cushion-like texture.

The other side uses two of the colors used for the miniature bag and champagne stuffed animal.
The green of Ireland and the pink of Japanese cherry blossoms.

Both sides of the shamrock are designed to feature colors that evoke memories of two countries.

The stem of the shamrock is made by wrapping embroidery thread around wire.
I used white, the color of the Irish flag, to match the colors on both sides.

It was a valuable opportunity to write out various patterns and learn a lot.

When creating embroidered art pieces from precious memories,
I also include small messages in our cherry blossom embroidery designs.
The color combination is inspired by Ireland and Japan.
It was a great opportunity to experience the joy of creative activity.

It was also an opportunity to learn about the history of St. Patrick's Day, something I had never known before.
In addition to the production, we were able to learn about a new culture and had a fun time working on the project.
